Sunrise in L.A.

Awakening at sunrise in LA, I encountered a large dried palm leaf branch lying where many trucks ran over it. I rescued it.  The branch spoke to me of greater meaning in life if it were incorporated into an art piece. For many years, this frond hung in a friend's studio. Eventually, I retrieved the branch as part of this mixed media work.
