Lynda Todd

Lynda Todd is a Canadian multi-award winning artist whose work invites people to experience art beyond sight. Legally blind and colour blind, she transforms her perspective into richly textured pieces designed to be both seen and touched. Her work removes barriers and proves that art is not just viewed. It is felt, shared and experienced by everyone.

Her acclaimed series, Migration: Land, Air & Sea, explores the journeys of species such as salmon, caribou and the monarch butterfly, revealing both their beauty and vulnerability. With support from the Ontario Arts Council and the Province of Ontario, Lynda continues this work through Migration Continued, featuring the penguin, whale and polar bear. These works highlight the urgent need for conservation and the interconnectedness of all life.

“Please Touch”, is not a slogan.

It is a statement of inclusion. The exhibit is designed to be accessible so everyone, regardless of vision, mobility or sensory needs, can experience art equally.
