Grandfather

This work is in memory of my Ancestor, Grandpa Coull.  Everyone loved him. He was a fishing guide and was booked for a year in advance. He would always go in his canoe, and with incredible balance, he would stand up on the gunwales of the canoe while watching for the fish. With quiet precision, he would pump up and down to make the boat move forward 

without a splash. In Winter, he was a tree faller for the government. His specialty was clearing the log jams downstream.
