One winner will receive the following Grand Prize package:

1. Cottage Stay

A creative workshop for up to five (5) friends. Workshop date to be arranged.

Prize Conditions

• The prize has no cash value and is non-transferable
• The prize cannot be exchanged, substituted, sold, or redeemed for cash
• The cottage stay must be redeemed September 3–7, 2026 only
• The winner is responsible for all costs not specifically listed as part of the prize, including transportation, meals, personal expenses, damage, additional rentals, insurance, and any other incidental expenses
  

Winner Selection

One potential winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the contest period.

The draw will take place on August 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET.

The potential winner will be contacted by phone and/or email within 48 hours of the draw.

The potential winner must respond within 48 hours of being contacted. If the potential winner does not respond within that time, is found to be ineligible, does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, refuses the prize, or fails to complete the required documentation, another eligible entry may be selected.

The winner's first name will be announced publicly. No photograph will be published without the winner's separate consent.

Before being declared the official winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited, unaided mathematical skill-testing question. This is a standard requirement for Canadian contests.

The cottage stay is subject to the following conditions:

• Winner must be 25 years of age or older
• Maximum of six (6) adult guests, plus children, not to exceed eight (8) people in total
• All guests must be verified and approved before arrival
• Identification may be required for all guests
• No parties or events permitted
• Family-friendly use only
• Cottage owner approval required
• Pets are subject to cottage owner approval
• All house rules must be followed
• Smoking, alcohol use, fires, noise, parking, guests, garbage, and waterfront use are subject to the cottage owner’s house rules
• Winner must sign a short-term cottage use/rental agreement before the stay
• A refundable $1,000 security deposit is required in advance, due two (2) days prior to the visit
• The security deposit will be held by ECCO Art Gallery Studios and returned within two (2) days after the visit, via Visa or e-transfer, provided no damage, excessive cleaning costs, missing items, rule violations, or other costs have occurred
• The security deposit may be withheld in whole or in part for damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, rule violations, or other costs resulting from the stay
• Winner is responsible for the conduct and safety of all guests
• Children are welcome and count toward the eight (8) person total

Use of Cottage Toys kayaks, paddleboards, or other equipment is subject to Cottage Toys’ safety requirements and availability.

• Winner and guests are responsible for safe and appropriate use of all water equipment
• Use of water equipment may be restricted or cancelled due to weather, water conditions, safety concerns, age/ability restrictions, or other factors determined by Cottage Toys
• Equipment use terms are included as part of the short-term rental agreement signed before the stay
• Life jackets/PFDs must be worn where required and are strongly recommended at all times on the water

By entering the contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless ECCO Art Gallery Studios, House of Art, Cottage Toys, Pina Romano, Donna Rork, Mark Hinan, the cottage owner, participating partners, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, injuries, costs, or liability arising from participation in the contest or acceptance/use of the prize.

The winner accepts the prize at their own risk and assumes full responsibility for themselves and their guests during the cottage stay, workshop, and use of any water equipment.

Personal information collected through this contest will be used only for the purpose of administering the contest, contacting the selected entrant, confirming eligibility, and awarding the prize.

Entrants will consent to receive future communications from ECCO Art Gallery Studios and Cottage Toys. Consent to receive marketing emails is not required to enter or win. Contestants can opt out of marketing material at any time.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that ECCO Art Gallery Studios, Discover Lakefield, and Cottage Toys may use their name and city/town for contest-related promotional purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. No photograph will be used without the winner’s separate written consent.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

The prize will not be awarded until the selected entrant has been verified, correctly answered the skill-testing question, signed all required documents, and complied with all contest rules.
