Wild Threads and Woodland Whispers
Step into Wild Threads & Woodland Whispers, an exhibition where the raw beauty of the natural world is woven together through two distinct artistic voices. Ron Plaizier, a celebrated wildlife artist, captures fleeting moments in nature with masterful precision, bringing birds, mammals, and landscapes to life in rich, evocative detail. Alongside him, Stephanie Ford Forrester explores the quiet poetry of marshes and forests, through textile-based mixed media, layering fabric, fiber, and paint to evoke the textures of the land.
Together, their works create a harmonious dialogue—where Ron’s animals find sanctuary within Stephanie’s landscapes, and her stitched reeds and woven trees become the very habitat his wildlife inhabits. This exhibition invites viewers to experience nature as both an observer and participant, feeling the movement of the wild through brushstrokes and the stillness of the land through thread.
From sweeping forested scenes to intricate fiber compositions, Wild Threads & Woodland Whispers celebrates the delicate balance of ecosystems, the artistry of natural textures, and the interconnectedness of all living things.
